JUMAPALO, Indonesia - Witnessed Fall

This meteorite fell on 13 March 1984 in the Karanganyar district, Central Java, Indonesia. One stone was recovered and most of it still resides in the Bandung Geological Survey Museum in Indonesia. This meteorite was classified as an L6 chondrite. Seldom seen in the meteorite market, this is a nice addition to any collection, especially if you like witnessed falls.

JUVINAS, France - Witnessed Fall

After the appearance of a fireball, a single ~91 kg stone fell near the village of Libonnes, Entraigues, Ardeche, France, on 15 Jun 1821. This is another of the incredible early 1800's witnessed falls in France. Juvinas is classified as an achondrite, monomict Eucrite, brecciated. And, even though the TKW is considerable, try to find it in the collector's market.
